Alban Tartari has been working for 18 years in the field of active journalism, public relations and management, and lecturing in the universities.
He is graduated from the University of Ankara - Turkey, Journalism Branch. He holds a MA degree in Political Science and International Relations, and a Ph.D. degree on Journalism and massive communication from Tirana University, Department of Journalism and Communication. Also, he holds a post-graduate certificate from the Council of Europe, Albanian School of Political Studies.
Mr. Tartari has been working between the years 2000-2003 as the correspondent for Turkey of the biggest Albanian newspaper at that time Koha Jone. At the same time he contributed to the Albanian-American newspaper Illyria, published in New York City. Between the years 2003-2008 he worked as a reporter, journalist at Albanian Public Radio and TV, RTSH. Starting from the 2008 and until September 2016, he was engaged as PR Director of the national Telco of Albania, ALBtelecom and Eagle Mobile.
Actually, he is engaged as a full time lecturer and researcher at the University of Tirana, Department of Journalism and Communication on courses like Public Relations, Press Office, Organizational Communication and Leadership, Online PR, TV and technology etc.
Dr. Tartari, is an expert in the field of Public Relations, and has published a book and many articles in this field. During this time he is also engaged as PR and Media Coordinator at the Western Balkans Fund, an initiative of six countries of the Western Balkans.
He is a member of the Union of Journalists of Albania and also a member of the Cultural Board of the Municipality of Tirana (Metropol Theatre).
Dr. Tartari has a special interest in writing and translating poetry, and has published books in this field. Also, he has been writing in Albanian press of Albania, Kosovo and Macedonia on different topics.
